Product description
U-BOAT Sommerso DLC 9015
The U-BOAT Sommerso DLC 9015 is a remarkable piece within the U-Boat Sommerso collection, embodying the brand's rich heritage and unique philosophy in watchmaking. This model continues a legacy that began in 1942 when Ilvo Fontana was commissioned by the Italian Navy to create a robust and readable timepiece for military pilots. Though the project was initially shelved, it was revived by his grandson, Italo Fontana, who founded U-BOAT in 2000, merging Italian craftsmanship with Swiss precision. The Sommerso line honors this heritage with bold designs and exceptional Italian flair, making a statement for those who appreciate an adventurous style.
The U-BOAT Sommerso DLC 9015 features a robust and bold design with a large round case and a substantial presence on the wrist. Its black silicone strap complements the black dial, case, and bezel, creating a cohesive and striking look. The watch includes a prominent crown guard on the left side, adding to its rugged aesthetic. With a 46 mm diameter, this watch stands out, and its 30 ATM water resistance makes it suitable for diving. The automatic movement, powered by the Sellita SW200 caliber, ensures reliable performance, while the screw-down crown and 48-hour power reserve offer convenience and dependability.
