Glass Protection
(€16.00)
The protective foil is an optional extra for those who want to take extra care of their watch and protect it from the scratches and scrapes that everyday life can easily cause. The foil is personally cut to fit your watch, which is why we can mount the foil on most watch models - including smartwatches from Apple, Huawei & Samsung.
The foil has a wide range of cool properties:
-
Increases scratch resistance.
-
Increases protection against small bumps and other scratches.
-
In the case of minor scratches, the film 'regenerates' so that in most cases it 'heals' again, so you can't see the scratch.
Deep scratches will 'destroy' the foil. Luckily, your watch has been saved from a permanent scratch and you can order a new foil from us.
The protective film is transparent and is made from a material that is almost impossible to see.
Conditions
The 99-day return policy does not apply when purchasing this product. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal still applies. When ordering online with a watch, the foil will be personally applied to your watch before shipment. We will remove the plastic that is normally attached to the glass and apply your PanzerGlassTM foil. In addition, 1 extra delivery day is expected on orders where PanzerGlassTM Foil is applied.

Product description
Festina Acero F20740/1
The Festina Acero F20740/1 watch is a compelling piece within the Festina Acero collection, embodying the brand’s blend of classic elegance and modern craftsmanship. Festina’s roots stretch back to 1902 in the heart of Swiss watchmaking, La Chaux-de-Fonds, where the brand established itself as a symbol of precision and quality. Over the decades, Festina evolved, relocating its headquarters to Barcelona while maintaining its dedication to Swiss-quality movements and artisanal heritage.
The Acero collection, to which the F20740/1 belongs, captures Festina’s essence of timeless design forged in stainless steel—aptly reflected in the name “Acero,” meaning steel. This collection celebrates simplicity and durability, showcasing a refined aesthetic that appeals to those who appreciate watches that blend everyday practicality with understated style. The F20740/1 model echoes this philosophy, offering a watch that feels both reliably solid and elegantly restrained — it speaks to a story of enduring craftsmanship where every detail balances form and function in perfect harmony.
This watch features a classic round case with a smooth bezel that frames a clean, simple dial. The dial is marked with straightforward hour indices and slender hands, offering a minimalist and easy-to-read design. A date window is positioned on the right side of the dial, adding a practical touch. The bracelet is composed of linked segments that provide a cohesive look, complementing the overall design of the watch. With a beige dial and gold-tone case, bezel, and strap, the watch presents a unified and elegant appearance.

Size
-
(Read more) 42 mmThe watch case measures 42 mm in diameter. The diameter is measured including the entire bezel and excluding the crown. Half-diameter sizes are rounded to the nearest whole number.
-
(Read more) 10 mmThe thickness/height of the watch case measures 10 mm from the top of the glass to the bottom of the back case.
-
(Read more) 20 mmThe strap width is the distance between the lugs where the strap attaches to the watch case. It is also between the lugs that you measure the width to find the correct size if you wish to replace your watch strap.
Features
-
(Read more) 5 ATM / 50 meterThe watch is water resistant to 50 meters of water pressure (5 ATM) under static conditions without movement or temperature fluctuations. A watch rated at 5 ATM is resistant to rain, sweat, and can be rinsed with fresh water without soap or salt. Although the watch can withstand water contact, we do not recommend wearing it during diving or bathing in soapy water, saltwater, lake water, or similar conditions.
-
(Read more) Mineral GlassThe watch is equipped with mineral glass, a hardened and heat-treated glass material that provides flexibility, making it more resistant to shattering upon impact. Scratch and wear resistance are measured on the Mohs hardness scale, which ranges from 1 to 10. Mineral Glass ranks at 5-6 on this scale.
-
(Read more) LumeThe watch is equipped with lume, a luminous material that absorbs light during the day and emits it in the dark. Lume is most commonly applied to the dial, hands, or markers. This allows you to read the time in low-light conditions or complete darkness.
-
(Read more) DateThe watch is equipped with a date display that advances every second time the hour hand passes 12 o'clock. The date display counts up to 31 days and must be manually adjusted in months with fewer than 31 days.
