Glass Protection
(€16.00)
The protective foil is an optional extra for those who want to take extra care of their watch and protect it from the scratches and scrapes that everyday life can easily cause. The foil is personally cut to fit your watch, which is why we can mount the foil on most watch models - including smartwatches from Apple, Huawei & Samsung.
The foil has a wide range of cool properties:
-
Increases scratch resistance.
-
Increases protection against small bumps and other scratches.
-
In the case of minor scratches, the film 'regenerates' so that in most cases it 'heals' again, so you can't see the scratch.
Deep scratches will 'destroy' the foil. Luckily, your watch has been saved from a permanent scratch and you can order a new foil from us.
The protective film is transparent and is made from a material that is almost impossible to see.
Conditions
The right of return is void when purchasing this product, as the seal will be broken and a personalization of the product takes place. When ordering online with a watch, the foil will be personally applied to your watch before shipment. We will remove the plastic that is normally attached to the glass and apply your PanzerGlassTM foil. In addition, 1 extra delivery day is expected on orders where PanzerGlassTM Foil is applied.

Danish Design, Solar Powered
BERING was founded in 2010 as a Danish watch and jewellery brand, built around minimalist design and high-quality materials inspired by the Arctic. The Solar collection sits within that lineup and is presented around classic Danish design principles. It uses solar technology that charges from any light source and stores energy in a rechargeable battery, with a full charge lasting between 6 and 12 months.
What the Specs Deliver
The Bering Solar 14440-227 runs a solar quartz movement that eliminates routine battery changes - a full charge carries the watch for up to 12 months of operation. Sapphire glass sits above the blue dial, resisting everyday scratches without the need for a coated compromise. At 5 ATM, the watch handles rain and handwashing but is not rated for swimming.

-
(Read more) QuartzThe clockwork is quartz, which means that it is battery powered. A quartz movement is easy to maintain and ensures that the watch is always accurate.
-
(Read more) SolarSolar watches are quartz watches that harvest their energy from light and store it in a rechargeable battery, eliminating the need for battery changes. Manufacturers often equip their watches with small solar panels on the surface of the movement, constructed from two layers of silicon, a material that efficiently absorbs and utilises sunlight and its energy. Once the battery is charged, the watch functions in the same way as any other quartz watch.
Design
Size
-
(Read more) 40 mmThe watch case measures 40 mm in diameter. The diameter is measured including the entire bezel and excluding the crown. Half-diameter sizes are rounded to the nearest whole number.
-
(Read more) 24 mmThe strap width is the distance between the lugs where the strap attaches to the watch case. It is also between the lugs that you measure the width to find the correct size if you wish to replace your watch strap.
Features
-
(Read more) 5 ATM / 50 meterThe watch is water resistant to 50 meters of water pressure (5 ATM) under static conditions without movement or temperature fluctuations. A watch rated at 5 ATM is resistant to rain, sweat, and can be rinsed with fresh water without soap or salt. Although the watch can withstand water contact, we do not recommend wearing it during diving or bathing in soapy water, saltwater, lake water, or similar conditions.
-
(Read more) Sapphire GlassThe watch is equipped with sapphire crystal glass, an exceptionally hard glass material. For standard wristwatches, sapphire crystal is the hardest and most scratch-resistant type of glass available. Scratch and wear resistance are measured on the Mohs hardness scale, which ranges from 1 to 10. Sapphire crystal ranks at 9 on this scale.
-
(Read more) DateThe watch is equipped with a date display that advances every second time the hour hand passes 12 o'clock. The date display counts up to 31 days and must be manually adjusted in months with fewer than 31 days.
