(Read more) BrassBrass is an alloy of copper and zinc, known for its golden color. Brass can be seen as a more affordable alternative to gold and goldplating. Despite its lower cost, brass is easily shaped and polished, making it a popular choice in design and craftsmanship. Brass is recognized for its durability, allowing you to wear your jewelry without worrying about it breaking. Over time, brass oxidizes but can be polished to restore its shine.

(Read more) SilverplatedThe jewellery is silver-plated with a layer of silver coating on the surface of the metal. The silver is usually 925 sterling silver, which acts as a protective layer but also gives the jewellery the right silver colour. The durability of the silver plating depends on the thickness of the silver plating measured in microns and also depends on how much you wear the jewellery and how you care for it. You should remove your jewellery when washing your hands, showering or using perfumed products, as this can tear the plating over time.
