Glass Protection
(€16.00)
The protective foil is an optional extra for those who want to take extra care of their watch and protect it from the scratches and scrapes that everyday life can easily cause. The foil is personally cut to fit your watch, which is why we can mount the foil on most watch models - including smartwatches from Apple, Huawei & Samsung.
The foil has a wide range of cool properties:
-
Increases scratch resistance.
-
Increases protection against small bumps and other scratches.
-
In the case of minor scratches, the film 'regenerates' so that in most cases it 'heals' again, so you can't see the scratch.
Deep scratches will 'destroy' the foil. Luckily, your watch has been saved from a permanent scratch and you can order a new foil from us.
The protective film is transparent and is made from a material that is almost impossible to see.
Conditions
The right of return is void when purchasing this product, as the seal will be broken and a personalization of the product takes place. When ordering online with a watch, the foil will be personally applied to your watch before shipment. We will remove the plastic that is normally attached to the glass and apply your PanzerGlassTM foil. In addition, 1 extra delivery day is expected on orders where PanzerGlassTM Foil is applied.

Product description
Jaguar Connected Diver J889/4
Jaguar Connected Diver J889/4 keeps a traditional analogue diver dial and moves the smart functions into the movement itself - a Swiss Made hybrid running a Festina connected quartz caliber, MBT003.5. Fits any 22 mm strap.
It links over Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy to Android phones from version 5.0 and to iPhones from iOS 9, and the configuration - notification filters, button assignments, activity history - lives in the Jaguar Connected app. The smart side therefore depends on that app and an active link to the phone, and the finer details, such as how many alarms and notification rules you can set, follow the app version and the phone's operating system.
Jaguar Connected Diver J889/4 gives you:
- Fits any 22 mm strap
- 20 ATM - suitable for diving
- Syncs with Jaguar Connected
- Chronograph with sub-dials and date window
- Step counting with a daily step goal
- Filtered call and message notifications
- Music control, camera shutter and find my phone
On the dial side there is a chronograph and a second time zone for dual time or world time. On the connected side: activity measurement with a pedometer, the Every step counts goal function, filtered notifications, call and message handling, music control, a camera shutter release, find my phone, and a GPS location bookmark that the phone records on command from the watch. All of it is set up in the Jaguar Connected app.
Activity measurement
Sensors in the connected movement log daily movement and step count, and the running totals are handed to the app when the watch syncs.
Filtered notifications
Alerts reach the wrist as vibration. You decide in the app which contacts and which apps are allowed through, so the filter is set per person and per source rather than all or nothing.
Phone functions (calls and messages)
Incoming calls and messages are signalled on the watch, and the pushers give basic control over a call as implemented across the Jaguar Hybrid Diver models.
Every step counts
Set a daily step target and follow progress both on the watch and in the app. Daily activity data can also be passed to Google Fit for further analysis, which requires granting the permission on the phone.
Jaguar Connected
The app pairs the watch, holds the activity data and assigns which functions sit on which watch button. Its text and language support varies by country and app store settings.
Case, bezel and dial
The 316L stainless steel case measures 46 mm in diameter and roughly 14 mm in case height, polished with brushed lugs and closed by a screwed case back under sapphire glass. The unidirectional diver bezel has a two-tone gold-plated and black inlay with a luminous pip at zero, and the grey dial carries Super-Luminova on hands and indexes.
Bracelet and power
The bicolour silver and gold stainless steel bracelet uses thick diver-style links, a 22 mm lug width and a total length of about 23 cm, closing with a fold-over clasp. The movement is powered by a CR3032 standard button cell with a typical battery life of up to 2 years.

Size
-
(Read more) 46 mmThe watch case measures 46 mm in diameter. The diameter is measured including the entire bezel and excluding the crown. Half-diameter sizes are rounded to the nearest whole number.
-
(Read more) 22 mmThe strap width is the distance between the lugs where the strap attaches to the watch case. It is also between the lugs that you measure the width to find the correct size if you wish to replace your watch strap.
Features
-
(Read more) 20 ATM / 200 meterThe watch is water resistant to 200 meters of water pressure (20 ATM) under static conditions without movement or temperature fluctuations. This means the watch is resistant to swimming and light diving. However, the watch is not classified as a diver’s watch, and we do not recommend diving deeper than 15 meters while wearing the watch.
-
(Read more) Sapphire GlassThe watch is equipped with sapphire crystal glass, an exceptionally hard glass material. For standard wristwatches, sapphire crystal is the hardest and most scratch-resistant type of glass available. Scratch and wear resistance are measured on the Mohs hardness scale, which ranges from 1 to 10. Sapphire crystal ranks at 9 on this scale.
-
(Read more) Super-LuminovaThe watch is equipped with Super-Luminova, which is an enhanced version of Luminova. The material provides an even stronger and longer-lasting glow in the dark through a lumen effect. Super-LumiNova is the most potent material in terms of light absorption and emitting a luminous effect, resulting in even better visibility and functionality in poorly lit environments compared to the older Luminova technology.
