(Read more) SapphireSapphire is best known for its deep blue color, but you can also find it in a wide range of other beautiful color variations. The gemstone originates from the mineral corundum and is exceptionally durable. Sapphire belongs to the elite of gemstones, and especially the blue color is highly valuable. Due to its vibrant color and hardness, sapphire is highly suitable for jewelry. In fact, sapphire is only surpassed in hardness by diamond. This advantage is particularly relevant in watches, as sapphire crystal provides a stronger glass than regular glass. Sapphires are said to assist with creative expression and hope, as well as in realizing one's dreams.

(Read more) BrassBrass is an alloy of copper and zinc, known for its golden color. Brass can be seen as a more affordable alternative to gold and goldplating. Despite its lower cost, brass is easily shaped and polished, making it a popular choice in design and craftsmanship. Brass is recognized for its durability, allowing you to wear your jewelry without worrying about it breaking. Over time, brass oxidizes but can be polished to restore its shine.

(Read more) GoldplatedThe jewellery is gold-plated with a layer of gold coated on the surface of the metal. The amount of carat can vary from plating to plating and the gold colour can vary in tone. The durability of gold plating depends on the thickness of the gold plating measured in microns and also depends on how much you wear the jewellery and how you care for it. You should remove your jewellery when washing your hands, showering or using perfumed products, as this can wear and degrade the gold plating over time.
