The polished case is compact at 23 mm across, the crystal is sapphire-coated mineral glass, and a black genuine leather strap with pebble grain texture and visible stitching completes the watch - secured by a buckle clasp at 12 mm width.

Danish Design, Founded 2018
Dissing was founded in 2018 by brothers Kasper and Mikkel Dissing, with the brand designed in Denmark and distributed through Ditur ApS in Hasselager. The Dissing Carré is an established collection within the lineup, built around a signature square case and minimalist dial. It spans multiple model references, placing D1917 within a defined product family rather than a standalone release.
Miyota Movement, Zircon Bezel
The Dissing Carré D1917 runs a Miyota 2025 quartz movement - a Japanese caliber known for reliable timekeeping in a compact format suited to the 23 mm case. The bezel holds a full row of zircons around the square crystal perimeter. Glass is sapphire-coated mineral glass, which resists light surface scratches better than plain mineral glass without the cost of full sapphire.
