Glass Protection
(€16.00)
The protective foil is an optional extra for those who want to take extra care of their watch and protect it from the scratches and scrapes that everyday life can easily cause. The foil is personally cut to fit your watch, which is why we can mount the foil on most watch models - including smartwatches from Apple, Huawei & Samsung.
The foil has a wide range of cool properties:
-
Increases scratch resistance.
-
Increases protection against small bumps and other scratches.
-
In the case of minor scratches, the film 'regenerates' so that in most cases it 'heals' again, so you can't see the scratch.
Deep scratches will 'destroy' the foil. Luckily, your watch has been saved from a permanent scratch and you can order a new foil from us.
The protective film is transparent and is made from a material that is almost impossible to see.
Conditions
The right of return is void when purchasing this product, as the seal will be broken and a personalization of the product takes place. When ordering online with a watch, the foil will be personally applied to your watch before shipment. We will remove the plastic that is normally attached to the glass and apply your PanzerGlassTM foil. In addition, 1 extra delivery day is expected on orders where PanzerGlassTM Foil is applied.

Product description
Candino Chrono C4744/1
Candino Chrono C4744/1 is a quartz chronograph wristwatch built around the Ronda 5030 caliber, housed in a 44 mm stainless steel case with crown guards flanking the winding crown.
The white dial is multi-layered with a textured finish and blue-toned accents throughout - three recessed sub-dials carry radial grooves, the central hour and minute hands are skeletonised and blued, and the sub-dial hands match in blue. Large Arabic numeral indices mark the hours, and a date display sits between 4 and 5 o'clock. The polished bezel and brushed lugs contrast with the stainless steel bracelet, which runs alternating brushed and polished links in a beads of rice style. Lume is applied to the hands.

Candino: Swiss Roots Since 1947
Candino was founded in 1947 in Herbetswil, in the Swiss canton of Solothurn. The brand is now part of Festina Lotus S.A. and maintains a documented focus on Swiss watchmaking. The Chronos Classic collection is Candino's conventional chronograph family, positioned as a classic lineup within the brand's range rather than a limited or commemorative series.
Sapphire Glass and Swimming-Rated Sealing
The Candino Chrono C4744/1 pairs the Ronda 5030 quartz chronograph movement with sapphire glass, which resists scratching across everyday wear. Water resistance is rated at 10 ATM, meaning the watch is suitable for swimming. The 395 / SR927SW battery powers the movement, and a 2-year warranty is included.

Water Resistance
-
(Read more) 10 ATM / 100 meterThe watch is water resistant to 100 meters of water pressure (10 ATM) under static conditions without movement or temperature fluctuations. This means the watch is resistant to general bathing activities. However, the watch is not classified as a diver’s watch, and we therefore do not recommend diving deeper than 2 meters while wearing the watch.

For standard wristwatches, sapphire crystal is the hardest and most scratch-resistant type of glass available. Scratch and wear resistance are measured on the Mohs hardness scale, which ranges from 1 to 10. Sapphire crystal ranks at 9 on this scale.
Lumen
-
(Read more) LumeThe watch is equipped with lume, a luminous material that absorbs light during the day and emits it in the dark. Lume is most commonly applied to the dial, hands, or markers. This allows you to read the time in low-light conditions or complete darkness.
